What is the accuracy rating of this unit? We commonly have to maintain .0002" total tolerance, and most often that is with round parts (Molding Pins and Sleeves). Sometimes the molding pins have complex features at the tip/molding surfaces (e.g., tapers, radius, grooves, holes, recessed depressions at the tip. Sometimes there are tiny molding forms proud of a surface at the tip that themselves may have little features in them (e.g. .005" radius) that, in addition to the distinct dimensions also has a positional requirement to the centerline of the entire part.
Having worked at Cross 42 years ago as a kid I never appreciated what a good company I worked for. Its a shame we have to grow older to get smarter.
Is there a setting in ICE or somewhere that activates ot deactivates the speed knob for in program moves? I have seen videos that show u can use it to slow down the run if ur worried about proving out a program but our units speed knob only functions with manual moves. Software is uo to date and the machine is a Smartscope Flash 302.
